Driving Directions: Top of Page To City of Providence Public Safety Complex:  The Providence Public Safety Complex is located at 325 Washington Street, Providence, R.I. 02901. This facility houses the Providence Police Department, The Fire Department, Emergency Management Offices as well as the Municipal and Housing Courts. Paid parking is available in the garage just across the street. From Points East:      Coming into the City of Providence on Interstate 195 West. Follow the highway to the merge with Route 95 North. Take Rt. 95 North and stay in the right hand lane. Take the Broadway Exit (Exit 20). At the top of the exit take the first left (at the traffic light). You are now on Broadway. At the second traffic light, (Dean Street) turn left. The Public Safety Complex is on the left and the parking garage is across the street on the right.       From Points West:      Coming into the City of Providence on Rt. 6 East. Follow Rt. 6 East until it merges with Rt. 10 North. At that point the two roads merge to form Rt. 6 East. Take the Dean Street Exit and bear to the right at the top of the ramp. You are now on Dean Street. Stay on Dean Street through two traffic lights and the Public Safety Complex will be on the left while the parking garage is on the right.       From Points South:      Coming into the City of Providence on Rt. 95 North. Follow the highway until the Broadway Exit. At the top of the exit ramp turn left at the first traffic light. You are now on Broadway. Follow Broadway and at the second traffic light turn left. The Public Safety Complex will be on the left and the parking garage is on the right.       From Points North:      Coming into the City of Providence from Rt. 95 South. Follow Rt.95 until the Atwells Ave. exit (Exit 21). Take Atwells Ave. Exit. Follow the service road (you will be on Service Road 8) and at the second traffic light turn right. The Public Safety Complex is on the right. Take your first right and the parking garage will be on the left hand side. To Sixth District Court:   Top of Page      Sixth District Court is located in the J. Joseph Garrahy Courthouse at 1 Dorrance Plaza, Providence, R. I. 02903.       From Points North, South and West:      Navigate onto Rt. 95 and then follow the interstate unti the merge with Rt. 195 East. Follow Rt. 195 East until Exit 1. Take Exit 1 and follow the exit ramp along the Providence River. Take the first left (approx. .3 miles from the exit). You will immediately be at a stop sign. After you have safely navigated the stop sign take the first right. You will now be on Friendship Street. The Sixth District Court will be straight ahead of you and to the right.       From Points East:      Follow Rt. 195 West until Exit 1. Take Exit 1 and follow the directions listed above. To Superior Court:   Top of Page      Superior Court is located at 250 Benefit Street in the City of Providence.You may also access the courthouse from South Main Street.       From Points North, South and West:      Follow Rt. 95 (North or South) until the merge with Rt. 195 East. Follow Rt. 195 East until the Wickenden Street Exit. Take the exit and at the bottom of the exit bear to the left. At the traffic light take a left hand turn. (There will be two lanes of travel when you turn left. Follow the lanes on the right side of the road) The road will bring you to a traffic light and you will be facing Benefit Street straight ahead of you. When the light turns green go straight. You are now on Benefit Street. Follow Benefit Street for several blocks and you will see the Superior Court on the left. The address is 250 Benefit Street.       From Points East:      Follow Rt. 195 West until the South Main Street Exit. Take the exit and it will bring you onto South Main Street. The Superior Court will be on the right hand side. To Traffic Court:   Top of Page      The Traffic Tribunal or Traffic Court, is located at 145 Harris Ave., Providence, R. I.       From Points West:       Follow Rt. 6/10 North until the Dean Street Exit. At the top of the exit ramp bear to the right. At the first traffic light turn right. You will be on Atwells Ave. Follow Atwells Ave. for several blocks. At the traffic light at the bottom of the hill you must take a sharp right hand turn (almost a hairpin turn to the right). This is Harris Ave. Follow Harris Ave for approx. .5 miles and the Traffic Court will be on the left. There is parking in the rear of the building.       From Points North:       Take Exit 21 (Atwells Ave.). At the top of the exit ramp turn right at the traffic light. You are now on Atwells Ave. Follow Atwells for approx. 1 mile until you come to a traffic light at the bottom of the hill. At the traffic light, you must take a sharp right hand turn. This is Harris Ave. Follow Harris for approx. .5 miles and the Traffic Couort will be on the left hand side.       From Points South and East:       From Rt. 95 North take the Broadway Exit.(Exit # 20). Follow the exit until the second traffic light. Turn left and follow the directions listed directly above.
